Mike Dianna’s Grill Room will be serving their outdoor cookout menu and selling beer, wine and cocktails throughout the event.

Tickets to this fun, family-friendly event will be available at, Mike Dianna’s Grill Room and Trio in Kitty Hawk when the full music lineup is announced.

A portion of the proceeds from the first annual Mustang Rock & Roast will go to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund and the Mustang Outreach Program.

The Corolla Wild Horse Fund incorporated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity in 2001 with the mission “to protect, conserve, and responsibly manage the herd of wild Colonial Spanish Mustangs roaming freely on the northernmost Currituck Outer Banks, and to promote the continued preservation of this land as a permanent sanctuary for horses designated as the State Horse and defined as a cultural treasure by the state of North Carolina.”  Often revered as one of the area’s most vital resources, the Colonial Spanish Mustang is on the Critically Endangered Breed list of the American Livestock Conservancy and on the Nearly Extinct list of the Equus Survival Trust.  For more info and history on the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, visit

The Mustang Outreach Program is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity that was founded in 2012 with the mission of supplementing the cultural arts education of Dare and Currituck County youth through music performance, workshops, subsidized lessons and to provide a stage for its talented students to perform.  The program has never been more important in the current climate of dwindling education budgets that often see cultural arts cut first.  More information is available at
