Bearded Face Productions invites Outer Banks residents and visitors to enjoy rock and roll, funk and blues at Mike Dianna’s Grill Room in Corolla at the Mustang Spring Jam 7 on Sunday, May 20, 2018 and the first annual Mustang Rock and Roast October 13-14, 2018.

The 7th Annual Mustang Spring Jam will feature five national touring bands playing nonstop live music at Mike Dianna's Grill Room from 1pm-10pm on Sunday, May 20. The Marcus King Band from Greenville, South Carolina will headline Mustang Spring Jam 7, bringing soul-influenced psychedelic southern rock to the event. Other bands that will be rocking the two stages at Mustang Spring Jam 7 are progressive American folk band Fireside Collective from Asheville, NC, indie rock-reggae band Of Good Nature from Charlotte, NC, progressive southern funk rock band Porch 40 from Cullowhee, NC, and Outer Banks reggae band Sensi Trails. Student bands from the Mustang Outreach Program will also take the stage at Mustang Spring Jam.

Purchase your Mustang Spring Jam 7 tickets HERE and at Trio in Kitty Hawk.

The inaugural Mustang Rock and Roast will celebrate two North Carolina culinary favorites, oysters and barbecue, with an outdoor oyster roast and pork barbecue cook off. At least 12 national, regional and local performers, as well as student bands from the Mustang Outreach Program will play nonstop live music on a main stage presented by Currituck Travel and Tourism and a deck stage from 2pm-10pm each day. Mike Dianna’s Grill Room will be serving their outdoor cookout menu and selling beer, wine and cocktails throughout the event.

Tickets to both of these fun, family-friendly events will be available at MustangMusicFestival.com, Mike Dianna’s Grill Room and Trio in Kitty Hawk when the full music lineups are announced. Advance, day of show and special VIP tickets will be available for Mustang Spring Jam 7 and the inaugural Mustang Rock and Roast. The VIP tickets will provide the ultimate guest experience with upscale meals, beverage tickets and special event access.

A portion of the proceeds for both events will go to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund and the Mustang Outreach Program. The Corolla Wild Horse Fund protects, conserves, and responsibly manages the herd of wild Colonial Spanish Mustangs roaming freely on the northernmost Currituck Outer Banks. The Mustang Outreach Program supplements the cultural arts programs in local schools with world class music performances, residencies and mentoring programs.
